Challenged Youth On-Court 2 Hour Basketball Clinic
A Fun-Filled 2 Hours of Basketball for Boys & Girls, Ages 8-21 who are faced with the challenges Autism, ADD, ADHD, Epilepsy, Learning Disabilities, Motor Difficulties, and other childhood developmental issues. On the court at the famous Dale F. Halton Arena is a 9,000-seat venue located inside the Barnhardt Student Activity Center.
Each registered clinic attendee receives a basketball, and tee shirt. Full details below with registration.

Hosted & Supported by the University of North Carolina Charlotte Basketball Staff and Team
Sept 11 Event, attendees will learn and participate in activities in a team atmosphere while they have fun meeting new friends in a social setting. They will participate in workstations with drills to develop motor skills and coordination to build confidence and self-esteem. Our campers will play basketball and learn new drills- to gain knowledge and self-empowerment. This is conducted in a non-competitive environment and without peer pressure.

Sit close up and watch the 49ers during their summer workout. Experience the thrill of meeting the team and players and take pictures.
Sept 11 – 11:00 (sharp) to 1:oopm 2 Hour Kids Basketball Clinic
This is a full-on-the-court participation clinic run by Mighty Mike Simmel and Coach Ron Sanchez. Bring your sneakers and water bottle. You get a T-shirt and Basketball to take home and get ready for 2 hours of fun.
Cost: $25.00 (in advance / non-refundable) SPACE IS LIMITED, please register early.
Each child participating in the clinic on the 11th receives a Basketball and T-Shirt

Our key focus is on building self-confidence, motor skill development, and interaction with peers. Our ratio of staff to camper is 4:1 and at times 1 on 1 development during the day. We encourage parents to stay and watch, see what their child is accomplishing, and watch them smile, laugh, and yes sometimes cry. But don’t worry every kid will have a unique, rewarding, and life-altering experience.
“Mighty Mike” Simmel and The Bounce Out the Stigma Project manage and run a camp like no other. A truly special experience where all kids can feel truly at ease without the traditional camp pressures. Children discover new skills, new friends, and inner confidence in how much they can accomplish when given the opportunity.
